Appalachian Mission

This summer, Georgetown Christian Students will be going to one of the poorest areas in the nation, to the Appalachian mountains in the Eastern Kentucky area.  This is a new mission for Georgetown Christian Church and will run similar to mission trips to that area have in the past.  HOWEVER, this mission trip provides housing in a school that has been converted to a bunk house.  Crossroads also provides assistance year-long in this one location, so the students that we help will continue to receive help throughout the year.  This is also a local mission, as they are based out of Louisville.  

On our fun day, we will be going to the Natural Bridge at Red River Gorge.  This hiking day will be a trip they will not forget.
